It has been brought to our attention this week that the lovely Fiona Bruce was attacked with shaving foam whilst filming The Antiques
Road Show at Hartland Abbey in Devon.
What could easily be described as a teenage prank, were it not for the perpetrators being thirty-two and forty-two, resulted in the two men have been charged with common assault and given £80 fines.
Our man on the ground had this to say on the subject:
“Apparently the foam originally belonged to their grandparents, who bought it back from their travels to Japan, but they recently had their bathroom refitted and it no long fits in with the new decor…”
In related news the man who threw a foam pie at Rupert Murdock has had two weeks cut from his six week jail sentence after an appeal. Perhaps if Fiona Bruce had been involved in the phone hacking scandal the perpetrators would have been dealt with more harshly.
