Newsvamp’s Attempt at Romance

Well, it turns out that Bee’s Valentine’s Poem competition was a resounding success.  Since it is Valentine’s Day

As promised on last night's Nibbler, here is Bee's surprise picture...

tomorrow she has recommended that I attempt to stick with the romantic theme, so here we go.  Below you will find a quotation from Shakespeare’s* Twelfth Night – we would like you to fill in the missing word.  As always entries, along with the picture you would like us to publish should you be lucky enough to win to quiz@newsnibbles.co.uk – good luck Nibblers.

If music be the food of….

  1. Love
  2. Mexico
  3. Burger King

This week’s runner up was Spudgun, for this effort:

A final mention goes out to TRB for effort.  Whilst she could not win the competition because she did not adhere to the rule of beginning her poem “Roses are Red” she did create this rather special Haiku, and since it’s Valentine’s Day this little shout goes out to her and her fireman.  Hope they have a lovely day.
