The Gist

To celebrate 100 likes on I Wore Heels to the Apocalypse, we have teamed up the the folks at Wight Orchid Publishing to offer this fantastic competition.  We are giving away a signed copy of I Wore Heels to the Apocalypse, and three lucky runners up will receive an ebook copy.  All you have to do is share with us your pictures of you, prepared for the apocalypse!

What you need to do

What we want you to do is upload your photo of you, looking ultra prepared for the apocalypse, be it in a nice dress, or full on combat gear with the caption “Dressed for the Apocalypse, #IWoreHeels”.  You must also tag us, so we know you’ve entered, so, we want it to be open to as many people as possible, so you can enter as follows:

On Facebook:

Upload your photo with the caption, and share it on the I Wore Heels Facebook page /IWoreHeels.  Make sure you like the page.

On Twitter:

Upload your photo with the caption, and tweet it, making sure you tag in @BadgersTweetToo – Make sure you follow the account.

By email:

Send your photo, with the caption in the subject box to newsdesk@newsnibbles.co.uk

What we’ll do

Entries will close on August 1st.  We will then collate all the entries into an album on the Facebook page.  The entry with the most likes will win.

Terms and conditions

You knew we’d need those.  Entries are open internationally.  We reserve the right to exclude any entry we deem unsuitable, without explanation.  By submitting your photo you grant Newsnibbles, and by extension C H Clepitt and Wight Orchid Publishing, the right to use the image for the purpose of promoting the competition.  You acknowledge that your picture will be shared across multiple social media platforms as well as the Newsnibbles website.  In order to be eligible to enter the competition you must be over 18 and have included the caption “Dressed for the Apocalypse, #IWoreHeels”, and have tagged either the “I Wore Heels” Facebook page, or the @BadgersTweetToo Twitter account if entering via social media.  Neither Facebook nor Twitter are responsible for this competition… *eye roll*.  The prize is, as stated, a signed paperback for the winner, free ebook for 3 runners up. No alternative prize will be offered, there is no money in this for you.  Entries will close at 23:59 on August 1st (GMT because we are in the UK) and the album will then be posted on Facebook.  The competition will then be open for two weeks from the date the album is posted to gain likes.  The most likes will win.  The prize will be posted within two weeks of the winner being announced.  We will acquire proof of postage, but are in no way responsible for the actions of the postal service.  You will not hold Newsnibbles, or by association C H Clepitt or Wight Orchid Publishing responsible for any lost or damaged prize.  By entering this competition you acknowledge that you are the copyright holder of the photograph in question, and have the right to distribute it.  I Wore Heels to the Apocalypse is an adult book, containing adult humour and themes.  It is not suitable for children.
