It’s time to party like it’s the end of the world!
On May 26th, 2016 Badger’s latest offering to the literary world I Wore Heels to the Apocalypse will be released to the world, and obviously we will be celebrating. Don’t worry if you live far away, or don’t like the effort involved in washing, dressing and leaving the house though, because on the 23rd, 24th and 25th of May we will be holding an online event, with a fabulous array of guest hosts, games, giveaways and more!
Our guest line up is already shaping up to be fantastic, with Chimpcasting’s very own Chimp Jones running a live Youtube marathon, with readings, interviews, music and more.
Well, like all our clever initiatives, our “What’s On” section is taking a while to get off the ground, so this edition we are letting you know about a Garden Party that’s happening in Leeds. It is our dream that one day we will have several things in this section, so that our tens of international readers have a choice as to where they spend their leisure time. If you have an event the click the envelope to the right and drop us a line, we don’t bite!
So, our pal Marge from Twitter has a stall at the St. Gemma’s Hospice Garden Party, Harrogate Road, Moortown (Leeds, we said that by the bullet point, see?). It is on Sunday the 14th of July, starts at 12pm and goes on ’til 4pm. There will be stalls, ice cream, Pimms and much more! We have included a poster below with more information. If you go and get your face painted by an award winning face painter we would love to see a picture.
Also, Marge tweeted us some pics of things that will be on her stall, so here is a sneaky peak for you:
Well, this is our first “What’s On” post, so is a bit sparse, but we are hoping that as word spreads amongst our global readership (you know who you are) more and more of you will let us know “What’s On” by you. At the moment we plan to publish this section monthly, but if it becomes more popular then we may post more often. If you have an event you would like added here then send us an email with any details you would like included and a poster, if you have one and we’ll be happy to oblige.
