Newsvamp’s Flowery Quiz

In turning to Bee for inspiration with regards to this week’s quiz she told me that since it was spring the quiz should have something to do with flowers, so, here we go.

In the old days, before people could write into Bee with their problems of a romantic nature they would turn to flowers.  The person who wanted to know whether their love was reciprocated would pull off the petals of a flower until there were none left. With the first petal removed they would chant “they love me” and with the second “they love me not”.  This would continue until all the petals were removed and the final petal, whether it land on “they love me” or “they love me not”  would reveal the truth about their intended’s feelings.

So, with that in mind examine the flower below and tell us, do they love you, or not.*

As always, answers, along with the photo you would like us to publish should you be lucky enough to win can be sent to quiz@newsnibbles.co.uk – good luck Nibblers.

And congratulations to last week’s winner, Pat from Brighton.  Whilst he did not answer correctly his was the best wrong answer, so we have published his answer below.  The answer was in fact a) a cloud and not as Pat suggested d) An armadillo loser, lonely on a cloud.  Good try though Pat.

*This is really more of a maths problem and does not have any basis in fact.  If you are unsure as to your partner’s true feelings then perhaps you should ask them, or better still write into Bee for love tips and advice: bee@newsnibbles.co.uk
