Doris Does the Wall

Ninety-five year old Doris Hancock from Cumbria has decided to walk the eighty-four mile length of Hadrian’s Wall before she is too old.  The retired teacher bought a book about the wall and since then decided that she wanted to walk it.  Together with family members she has decided to walk five miles a day, two days a week until she has completed the entire wall, which she has estimated she will have done by October.  Good luck Doris.

To Pee, or Not to Pee?

A French man has learnt the hard way that answering the call of nature in public is less private than he hoped.  The unfortunate man was snapped by a roving Google camera and his image was immortalised on Google Maps!  Google agreed to take the image down after the man complained, but a French court dismissed his lawsuit against the company and ordered him to pay the internet giant’s legal fees of €1,200.

Elephant Sperm in Demand Worldwide

According to a report elephants in captivity are becoming inbred, and it is for this reason that German Zoologist Thomas Hildebrandt takes trips to South Africa to collect samples from wild donors.  In “Project Frozen Dumbo” bull elephants are tranquilised and sperm extracted to take back to inseminate captive elephants.
