Well, since one of the top search terms for finding this site at the moment is “poo”, we have decided to roll with it. Actually, this is something we just stumbled upon on YouTube, and needed to find out more. At first we thought it might be a spoof, but then we searched the BBC Website and discovered that this was in fact, a genuine news story. So, here goes.
An artist in Liverpool is attempting to make musical compositions from bird droppings. That’s right, people, bird droppings.
The plan is to lay out massive musical scores on the ground and wait for inspirational music to simply plop from the air. Wheresoever a bird does lay its droppings on the score, that is the note which shall be played. Yes, really.
Apparently the process is taking longer than expected as those pesky birds are being less than co-operative when it comes to poo placement. Apparently you can wait all day and just get one note. The creative process can take time, and one should not rush genius.
We asked the fans if they had ever been inspired by poo. We had no response.
