Just because we’ve been away a bit doesn’t mean we haven’t been keeping an eye on the random news, so here is a break down of what you might have missed whilst your one stop shop for all the random news you can shake a banana at has been away.
Face of Christ Appears in Poo
Well, what with everyone believing they know what he would do, whilst no-one really seems to be loving their neighbours or turning the other cheek, it seems that Jesus has been popping up all over the place lately. In Ohio last week a man claimed to have seen his face in some bird droppings. According to The Raw Story the man was at MacDonald’s ordering food when the (and we are assuming the breed here) the holy dove blessed his car with a dropping. Although apparently innocent from the outside, when the man entered his car “It’s like Jesus staring right at me! Absolutely amazing! It looks so clear to me.” He proceeded to film it and post the video on Youtube for the world to share in his experience. The video has been removed now, so we cannot see the awe with which the holy poo first grabbed him, but we did see the photograph in The Raw Story report and can’t help but feel it looks more like Voldemort than Jesus – what with the pasty skin and lack of a nose, but perhaps that shows a lack of imagination on our part.
Missing Banksy Found in Miami
A piece of Banksy street art that went missing from the wall of a London Pound Land store turned up at an auction in Miami. After a campaign by Londoners the painting was withdrawn from the auction at the last minute and returned to its original home. What we find ourselves wondering is how one removes something that has been painted on a wall, and sends it to auction. Was the shop actually missing an entire section of their wall? And if so why were they not annoyed about it? It has been jolly chilly this winter. If you have any thoughts then do get in touch.
Goats Marked for X Factor
Well, not really, but this is a bit of fun. Someone has remixed a Taylor Swift song to give her a screaming goat as a backing singer. If we are not describing this well please watch the video yourself, as it is a truly special experience, and we think she should consider using goats on her next single, if she hasn’t already.
