Bodyform Apologises for “Happy Periods”

suggest that you could do all sorts of rugged outdoorsy activities on your period, if you wanted to, with the help of their “feminine hygiene products”, aw heck, we’re gunna call sanitary towels, and or tampons.  This is what they are people.  Deal with it, they aren’t dirty words.  But we’re digressing already.  Richard Neil, a self confessed “man” wrote on Bodyform’s Facebook Page that the adverts which portray women doing such things as dancing and parachuting etc were misleading, as “that time of the month” was not at all a joy with his girlfriend.  He went on to make a comparison to the film “The Exorcist”.

The whole sarcastic comment can be found by clicking here.  Whilst it may give you chuckles reading Richard’s clearly well thought out and well considered comment, the reason we are discussing it now months on is not just because here at Newsnibbles we are always late to the party, but we discovered Bodyform’s response on Youtube, and it is just cracking!  They are now officially our favourite lady product, not only do they provide decorative tins to keep your unmentionables in, but they have the best sense of humour EVER.
