Gay Penguins Forced to Separate
Whilst the issue of gay marriage is still contentious in America, penguins are not even allowed to co-habit. The gay penguin couple at
Toronto (yes, we know that’s Canada, don’t write in) Zoo have been separated in the hope that time away from each other will force them to like girls. Apparently they are endangered African penguins and have been separated for the good of the species. This is in contrast to the fate of the gay penguins in Harbin Polar Land in northern China, who were married in an official ceremony in 2009 and have been given a chick to nurse. Yey for China.

One Well Groomed Explorer
An American explorer making a wildlife documentary in Uganda’s Bwindi National Park received more than he bargained for when he ran into a group of baby gorillas. Clearly of the opinion that he was in need of some gorilla styling tips the group proceeded to groom him under the watchful eye of a large silverback, who we can only assume was their GNVQ hairdressing assessor.

Footprints in the Snow
Well, it wouldn’t be Christmas unless we ended on a festive story. Police in Stockholm arrested thieves who were attempting to steal Christmas trees after they were able to follow the tracks they had left in the snow. There must be a moral in this story, but Christmas is not the time to look for morals. Merry Christmas Nibblers.
