Rug Wash

Police were called after an altercation at a carwash in Västerås, Sweden this week.  A forty-three year old Swedish man reportedly became

aggressive after staff at the petrol station advised him against using the car wash to clean his Persian rug (not a euphemism, an actual Persian rug).

According to The Local the rug took up the space of two cars, and the man reacted “angrily” to having this fact pointed out.  The altercation ended with the man rolling up his soggy rug and leaving.

We asked our Swedish correspondent how much a car wash cost in relation to a carpet cleaning service to see if it would be a significant saving.  He did not know the answer.  He did tell us that his method of rug cleaning involved scrubbing them in the snow, which is like dry cleaning apparently.

We asked the fans what their preferred method of rug washing involved.  We think they thought we were being rude and thus the question did not illicit a response.  If you have any tips for carpet cleaning that you would like to share then why not pop a comment below?
