Too Much to Bear!

Who hasn’t been caught short on occasion and needed to use outdoor facilities?  Well one Swede got more than he bargained for when he headed

We don't really need an excuse to run pictures of Annie.

out in the early hours to relieve himself.  According to the report in The Local his cabin, which he shared with his wife, located Ängraån nature reserve in north-eastern Sweden did not have indoor toilet facilities, so when he felt the call of nature he embarked on a journey outside the cabin, wearing nothing, but what was described by our fashion correspondent as “briefs” (presumably due to their scant nature).

So, where is this truly fascinating little anecdote going we hear you cry (if you’re still reading this far)?  Well, upon taking his comfort break into the wilds of nature the man spotted an Elk.  Excited by this glimpse into the natural world he called his wife to capture the moment on their iPad.  Shortly thereafter, presumably in pursuit of said elk, came trundling from the woods a bear!  The bear changed its quarry to the semi-nude Swede and proceeded to chase him around the cabin before trundling away.  The whole exciting incident was captured on video!  Our multi-talented tech guy, Oliver speaks fluent Swedish and translated what was said on the video for us:

Woman: “Oh, Oh, there’s a bear coming! Hell! God damn! Hell! It ran! There came, oh shit, a bear!”

Man “I saw it”

Woman: “My god! What in hell! What the shit just happened? What the shit!”

And our Canine correspondent Annie Butler translated the conversation between the elk and the bear for us.

Bear: “Oh, Oh, there’s a there’s a man wearing nothing but underwear coming! Hell! God damn! Hell! It ran! There came, oh shit, where’re his clothes?”

Elk: “I saw it”

Bear: “My god! What in hell! What the shit just happened? What the shit!”

We have embedded the video below, but before you click please be aware that it contains images of a Swedish man in his underwear, and a bear, and some viewers may find this disturbing.
