Say No To Foetus in Food!

Well Oklahoma certainly is.  This week their Senator, Ralph Shortly has introduced a bill that would ban the use of aborted human foetuses in food.  Now, we know what you’re thinking, surely it is already illegal to eat dead babies?  For that matter, where would food companies find a supply of aborted human foetuses to use in their food preparation?  Well, we don’t know that either.  We’re just letting you know that, if you live in Oklahoma, and currently use foetus in your food preparation, they are cracking down on it and it’s time to stop.

Mouse Withdrawal

A man in Sweden had a shock this week when he tried to retrieve his receipt from a cash machine.  When he tried to retrieve is receipt a tail emerged instead.  Curious, the man gave it a tug, and it came off in his hand.  In shock he hurried into a local shop to try and enlist help in freeing the mouse.  As the cash machine was unconnected with the shop no-one was prepared to assist him.  Eventually a trolley stacker came to his aid and together they retrieved the bloodied body of the mouse.  Apparently he was unsure whether it was still alive, but it was certainly still warm.  Our experts tell us that it was unlikely that a mouse would survive being dragged backwards through a receipt dispenser.  They also asked why someone didn’t unlock the machine and retrieve the mouse from the back.  We are sure there is a good reason, do feel free to comment and let us know if you know what that reason is.  You will be pleased to know that the man did eventually get his receipt.

Celebrity Juice hits the Islands!

There is exciting news for residents of Guernsey and Jersey this week as it has been announced that their Freeview boxes will now be able to pick up ITV2 and ITV3.  Now, residents previously deprived of such gems as Keith Lemon and The Xtra Factor will be able to see what we on the mainland have experienced for years.  We are not sure the impact this announcement will have on the day to day lives of the islanders.
